So my tablet pen is broken apparently

EDIT: I feel stupid as hell. I just had to restart my computer. //facedesks// It works fine now.
I think my brother might have spilled water on it or someone stepped on it or something. It's not my tablet itself because when I use the touch function and just run my finger across it works fine.
If anyone has any idea of how to fix it please tell me, but as of now I think I'm just going to get a new tablet. It's been kind of broken for a while and a replacement pen costs $30+. I need a new one anyway so maybe now's the time to buy one?
Guess I'll be stuck with a pencil and paper for now.
